The Holiday season brought families and friends closer together. The festivities showed how well we handle our social relationship with each person that we know or just knew. There are activities like dining out with families and playing sports activities so we can have a closer bonding with each other. This also make all the insects in the world closer to us because of the food all around. They are attracted to this especially if there are no people who sway them away.
I mentioned this because we really did have that problem while in the kitchen. Insects are all over, luckily my sister have this home moth traps and that made the cooking convenient. Insects can bevery deadly if we do not notice them in our foods and we don’t want this troubles arising during the fun times of the holidays. Ending up in a hospital is not a good way to face the New Year.

It’s nice to do things that are first time for you to do once in a while. I get to experiment on things without having to worry about what might people think and if other’s will judge me or not. My grandmother was all the influence I have to try out things that I don’t normally do. I didn’t like the idea at first because I am a person planner. All the things that I have to do should be in my plan for that day or else everything else will be ruined.
My grandma hates that fast paced she is experiencing and seeing when she was with us. So, she likes to invite each of us one by one at her home and do crazy things that you haven’t done. In my case, we are going to have cookie recipes. I have never cooked nor baked in my entire life because I don’t have the time and maybe I am not good at it. But grandma pushes me and I can’t say no to an old lady. We end up doing that all day with laughing on the side and it was one of the most happy days of my life since elementary days. I am glad I did it.

I was assigned to assist my aunt cook paella for the coming reunion of my family on the mother side. Few of our relatives will come from all parts of the world and this is going to be the first time that we will all meet. The favorite dish of the family is paella and I already bought paella pan for this exciting event. I haven’t really seen in person my cousins from England, Australia and from Netherlands and I am so excited to see them very soon.
