When I was pregnant, my ob- gyne advised me to take prenatal vitamins for my own health and for the development of my baby. Vitamin and mineral supplementation is often recommended prior to and during pregnancy. I remember that I experienced nausea when I first started taking them, but that stop after a while.

So for all pregnant women out there, choose the best prenatal vitamins for you and always remember that it’s not just about choosing the right vitamin. You still need a healthy diet. In fact, nutritious eating habits will help your body process the prenatal vitamins more effectively.
